What is Spout?
Spout is an electric kettle designed for elderly people with mobility difficulties. The kettle counterbalances shaking and tremors. Users turn the lid to turn on the kettle and begin filling it, and continue turning to change the temperature. Water and power lines connect to the base and can be embedded into the countertop to simplify the filling and power process.

Elderly people often have increased mobility difficulties that cause them to struggle with the devices they use daily.

Spout is an electric kettle designed to counterbalance shaking and tremors that can be integrated into kitchen counters to simplify the filling and power process.

Spout is an electric kettle designed to counterbalance shaking and tremors that can be integrated into kitchen counters to simplify the filling and power process.
1. User twists the lid to turn on the kettle and begin filling it.
2. User continues twisting to select temperature of the water.
3. User lifts kettle from base before pouring.
4. User pours hot water into a mug from the no-drip spout.
5. User returns kettle to stand for next use.
6. User enjoys their cup of tea.
